Cbank: Russia’s trend inflation decelerates to 8.7% in July
MOSCOW, Aug 11 (PRIME) -- Russia’s trend inflation decelerated to 8.7% in July from 9% in June, the central bank said in a report on Thursday.
The ruler expects continuation of a gradual inflation decrease if the current trends continue but sees risks of non-fulfillment of a 4% inflation target at the end of 2017. The trend inflation is still high and is falling slowly, the authority said.
Trend inflation is inflation expected in the absence of short-term factors, it includes changes in absolute prices and dynamics of monetary aggregates.
